Consultant lands £2.2m DfT contract to drive new bus network

The Department for Transport is to ask all Local Transport Authorities to submit Bus Connectivity Assessments (BCAs), under new guidance on bus policy and Bus Service Improvement Plans just issued. The newly introduced assessment is described as a process to identify the best bus network to meet bus connectivity objectives for the local transport authority area at varying levels of public funding support.
