New partnership to drive station upgrades in Greater Manchester

Network Rail and Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) have formed a partnership which will include railways and station upgrades across Manchester and Salford.

Over the next 12 months the two organisations say they will work with stakeholders and seek future partners to develop plans for six stations: Manchester Piccadilly, Manchester Victoria, Manchester Oxford Road, Deansgate, Salford Central and Salford Crescent.
