Stagecoach has taken over the bus services and 23 vehicles of Merseyside independent operator Peoplesbus.
The deal involves all tendered local bus and home-to-school services along with other school routes and football shuttles.
Peoplesbus Managing Director Andrew Cawley founded the business in 2001 with a bus
he drove himself said he was “delighted” to make the sale.
