The National Trust’s plan to build a car park with over 1,000 spaces on the edge of the Peak District National Park has been criticised.

A petition on Change.org criticises the trust for its “car-dependent business model” after revealing plans to build the Peak District’s biggest car park while pledging to be net carbon zero by 2030.
