LTNs can trigger debate on the purpose of residential streets

Low Traffic Neighbourhoods (LTNs) can act as a “trigger for a wider discourse on the character and function of residential areas”, according to a study by a team from the Transport Studies Unit at the University of Oxford. LTNs can have a “profound effects on large population areas”, said the report’s authors Geoffrey Dudley, David Banister and Tim Schwanen.
