TyreSafe has appointed Stuart Lovatt as its new chair. Tyresafe is a charity dedicated to raising awareness of the importance of correct tyre maintenance and the dangers of defective and illegal tyres. Lovatt has worked closely with TyreSafe for many years as part of his previous role as strategic road safety lead at National Highways. He has supported the DfT in a range of national strategic road safety Boards and Committees, including the National Road Safety Committee for the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) and the Parliamentary Council for Transport Safety Behavioural Advisory Group (PACTS).
