Brighton & Hove and Metrobus has hired Alex Chutter as its new operations director. He will replace Kevin Carey, who is retiring in December 2022. Chutter has more than 11 years’ experience in the bus industry, and will join from Brighton & Hove and Metrobus’s sister company Go South Coast where he is the general manager for Swindon Bus Company, Salisbury Reds and the coaching division. He joined Go South Coast as a graduate trainee in 2011.
