Public will expect high standards of safety for self-driving vehicles, says CDEI

Self-driving cars are currently not allowed on UK roads, but the government has announced that the first such vehicles could be on UK roads by 2025. It is even possible cars, coaches and lorries with self-driving features could be operating on motorways in the next year.
