Tackle road freight supply chain in two years or impose industry levy, warn MPs

The logistics sector needs to improve the working conditions of drivers and warehouse staff, or face a formal levy, says the House of Commons Transport Committee.

Haulage, distribution and retail companies should be given two years to deliver sufficient drivers, workers and facilities, including high-quality services and welfare, say the MPs.
