Bike hire boost for Nottingham and Derby

Nottingham and Derby are both set to launch electric bike hire schemes after securing a second raft of Transforming Cities funding from the Government. The fund will support a range of projects aimed to encourage active travel and use of public transport. Nottingham City Council is to get more than £2.5m while Derby City Council will get £1.1m. News of the funding was announced at the Cycle City Active City conference, held in Sheffield last week. ...
