Combined authorities set out plans for their new CRSTS allocations

The new City Region Sustainable Transport Settlements are providing a significant boost to investment in England’s main urban areas. Details have begun to emerge of the allocations and how they will be deployed. Deniz Huseyin rounds up the situation across the regions

The Government has confirmed the final City Region Sustainable Transport Settlements (CRSTS) allocations for the seven mayoral combined authorities. Some regions have already announced where the money will go while others are yet to publish spending breakdowns (see report on West Midlands’ plans on page 8).
