Bus services in England are at a “critical tipping-point” and will face irreparable damage unless the Government pledges now to extend emergency Covid-19 funding, states a letter signed by all seven of Labour’s metro mayors. They have voiced their “profound concern” that the Government appears unwilling to extend the Bus Recovery Grant beyond the end of March.
