Scottish Government presents business case for ‘fair and just’ transport projects

A wide-ranging transport investment strategy designed to help tackle climate change, reduce inequalities and improve health and wellbeing has been published by the Scottish Government, reports Deniz Huseyin

The second Strategic Transport Projects Review (STPR2) lists 45 recommendations under six themes: improving active travel infrastructure; influencing travel choices and behaviours; enhancing access to affordable public transport; decarbonising transport; increasing safety and resilience on the strategic transport network; strengthening strategic connections.
