An initial ‘mass transit system’ for West Yorkshire is expected to cost more than £2bn, according to the Integrated Rail Plan. Bus Rapid Transit is one of the possibilities, and transport commentator and Light Rail Transit Association vice-president said the plan was not sufficiently clear.
