The Welsh Government has postponed a public inquiry into two long-awaited road schemes to be reviewed by the new roads review panel, which consultant Dr Lynn Sloman has been appointed to chair.

For many years, the government has proposed grade-separated junctions to replace the roundabouts on the A55 Expressway at Llanfairfechan and Penmaenmawr, in Conwy county borough. European Union funding was awarded to the schemes, and a public inquiry was scheduled to commence on 21 September.
