Bus travel will be free for everyone in Swansea throughout August on Fridays to Mondays inclusive, as Swansea Council encourages people to return to the shops, parks and beaches without using cars.
Starting on 30 July, free travel will be funded by the council, which aims to repeat the offer during other school holidays if this summer’s free travel is successful. Six operators are participating, including First Cymru and community transport operator DANSA.
