Westminster City Council is making temporary public realm improvements to Oxford Street and surrounding streets, which could be a precursor to permanent works.
The £3.3m programme includes extended footways, ‘pocket parks’, new street furniture, banners and feature lighting. It aims to encourage people back to the area as Covid-19 lockdown restrictions are eased.
