Cornwall Council has delayed the introduction of a reduced bus fares pilot scheme because of Covid-19. The DfT awarded Cornwall £23.5m for a four-year low bus fares pilot in September 2019 (LTT 11 Oct 19). Cornwall says the DfT has accepted that the pilot should be introduced “at a time when the measures taken to deal with the pandemic create the right environment to restore further public freedoms”....
