Glasgow City Council could become the first local authority in Scotland to run a rental e-scooter trial.
The DfT invited Scottish and Welsh local authorities to participate in the fast-track programme of e-scooter rental trials announced in May (LTT 15 May). The Scottish and Welsh Governments subsequently discovered, however, that their parliaments must pass legislation for trials to take place (LTT 02 Oct).
