Plans for further traffic restrictions at the major Bank Junction intersection in the Square Mile have been published by the City of London Corporation. 

The Corporation has long-term aspirations to completely pedestrianise the junction but is taking incremental steps to give pedestrians more space and improve cycle safety. 

Since 2017 only buses and cyclists have been permitted across the junction between 07.00 and 19.00 Monday to Friday.
