Bus and light rail operators in England (outside London) will receive £256m in the third round of the Government’s Covid-19 emergency grant.
The bus industry will receive £218.4m of Covid Bus Service Support Grant Restart (CBSSG Restart) over eight weeks, backdated to 4 August, to pay for higher service levels than can be justified by current passenger numbers.
