Steve Hayes (pictured) is to join Transport for the West Midlands in the new position of head of network transformation, a role focused on public transport. Hayes moves from Milton Keynes Council where he was head of transport. Milton Keynes will not recruit a replacement, Hayes’ responsibilities instead being split between the highways, planning and property departments.
