An off-street airport parking site near Birmingham Airport has been sold by travel services provider Holiday Extras to Birmingham City Council. The 26-acre site is used for motor showrooms and parking by a number of operators on medium-term leases.
The off-market deal enables Holiday Extras to realise a profit from the site, which it acquired 17 years ago, and the council to acquire a stable income stream with good prospects for long-term growth.
