Car-based housing rife in Oxon

Environmental campaigners in Oxfordshire have urged communities secretary Robert Jenrick to stop new car-dependent housing developments in Oxford’s Green Belt.

POETS (Planning Oxfordshire’s Environment and Transport Sustainably) has written to Jenrick raising concern about Cherwell District Council’s local plan that allocates Green Belt land for 4,400 homes to cater for unmet housing need in Oxford.
