Working group sets out default 20mph limit plan for Wales

Emerging proposals for introducing a default 20mph speed limit on roads in Wales with a 30mph limit have been outlined by the Welsh Local Government Association.   

Welsh first minister Mark Drakeford pledged a presumption of 20mph for residential streets in his manifesto for the Labour leadership last year. Lee Waters, the deputy minister for economy and transport, is now leading the work.
