Aberdeen City Council has secured funding for ten hydrogen fuel cell cargo bikes as part of a project part-funded by the EU. The Fuel Cell Cargo Pedelecs project is led by the German Aerospace Centre and part-funded by the EU’s Interreg North West Europe programme. The cost of the Aberdeen project is €458,392, with 60 per cent of costs recoverable from Interreg.
