the bus industry has criticised Welsh Government financial estimates for franchising and setting up new municipal bus companies contained in a draft regulatory impact assessment (RIA) for the forthcoming Public Transport (Wales) Bill.

The Bill will include powers for the 22 unitary authorities to establish franchises, Enhanced Quality Partnerships (EQPs) and municipal companies.
