The ten councils that make up the Cardiff Capital Region look set to ask the Welsh Government for permission to prepare a joint strategic development plan (SDP).
The Cardiff Capital Region’s cabinet approved the idea of preparing an SDP last month. It must now be ratified by each of the ten councils before the Welsh Government is asked to consider the request.
