Harrogate Borough Council and North Yorkshire County Council are to implement pay by the minute parking in on- and off-street parking bays across the town centre for users of the AppyParking app. The trial is expected to commence on 1 November. Drivers will pay a minimum charge based on the current first block of parking available (20 minutes for on-street and an hour for off-street) before then paying by the minute.
