Lord Adonis may have quit the National Infrastructure Commission but his campaign to see transport secretary Chris Grayling sacked for his handling of the East Coast rail franchise continues. Adonis’s complaint is that Grayling has let operators Stagecoach/Virgin off the hook for billions of pounds of premium payments that they promised on the back of faulty revenue forecasts.
