TfL’s Oyster app proves a hit

Transport for London has reported over 50,000 downloads of its Oyster top-up app since launch earlier this month. Customers must wait at least 30 minutes after making their top-up before activating it by touching their Oyster card on a yellow card reader at Tube stations, rail stations, tram stops, piers, or on buses (from a date in October). The app was designed by TfL and developed by Cubic Transportation Systems....
