SYSTRA Ltd has completed the acquisition of JMP Consultants Ltd for £8m, a purchase that the firm says will propel it into the top five transport planning companies in the UK in terms of turnover.
SYSTRA Ltd’s turnover in 2014 was £19m, whereas JMP’s was £11m. The purchase will almost double SYSTRA Ltd’s headcount: it currently has 231 staff whereas JMP has 186.
