The City of Westminster is to ban parking on its half of Waterloo Bridge under plans for a new cycle route linking Bloomsbury and the South Bank.
At present the southern half of the bridge – which is controlled by Lambeth Council – has double yellow lines whilst Westminster’s section has single yellow lines. This means that cars can park on the Westminster section of the bridge ion Sundays.
