ABD criticises Greens and cycling groups for seeking change to accident liability in Scotland

Motoring organisation the Alliance of British Drivers has criticised cycling groups and the Green Party in Scotland for campaigning for a change in road accident law. 

The groups are pressing the Scottish Parliament to introduce ‘presumed liability’ into civil law, which would mean that, in an accident, the driver of the larger vehicle would be presumed guilty and liable unless they could prove their innocence.
