Wrexham council has approved the demolition of a former nightclub to allow the building of student accommodation.
Developers Q2 Leisure and Lettings have submitted proposals for two four-storey buildings offering 107 student flats.
There would be ground-floor retail units and parking for 54 vehicles in an undercroft area.
