Refurbishment works on a multi-storey in the centre of Lincoln will take longer than expected because corrosion of the steel-reinforcement has been revealed to be worse than anticipated.

The 458-space Lucy Tower car park, which was built in the 1970s, closed in March for what was planned to to be a five-month renovation costing £1.4m (PR April).
