New joint venture wins £300m Crossrail job

A new joint venture involving rail infrastructure company  Alstom, track specialist TSO and construction firm Costain has been awarded one of the largest Crossrail contracts to fit out and commission the tunnels currently being bored under London.

The contract to fit out the 13 miles of twin tunnels with the track and power equipment necessary for Crossrail services is worth around £300m.
