Roadworks boost M6 Toll traffic

Roadworks on the M6 in the West Midlands are helping to boost the number of drivers using the M6 Toll, according to the toll road’s operator, Midland Expressway Ltd. Traffic volumes on the M6 Toll were 8% higher in the period October-December 2012 compared with the same period of 2011. The operator says this was “mostly as a result of ongoing roadworks on the competing M6”. The roadworks to install managed motorways are expected to continue throughout 2013....
