TomTom has launched a platform to allow developers to build web and mobile apps using its maps, routing and traffic data. TomTom said it would allow initiatives such as the launching of a web tool with Netherlands Railways to combine their datasets to provide their customers with “a world premiere” of an objective comparison between real-time public transport and road traffic information.
