Consultant Mott MacDonald has been appointed by Hordaland Regional Council, which includes Norway’s second-largest city, Bergen, to carry out detailed design, preparation of procurement documentation and stakeholder management for the €220 million Stage 3 of its light rail network.
The 7.2km of double track will complete a direct link from the 4km Stage 2, which is due to open by summer of 2013, to Flesland airport, through 2.8km of tunnels.
