Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) has been given the go-ahead for two public transport projects in the region. The Department for Transport (DFT) has approved an £11.5m transport interchange bus station in Rochdale town centre.
The DfT is providing £6.97m towards the scheme, with the remainder of the funding coming from Rochdale Council and TfGM.
