The start of a prospective new era for the 125 year old Blackpool Tramway was unveiled on the 8th of September at the new Starr Gate depot. The first of sixteen Bombardier Flexity 2 trams emerged from the brand new depot through a cloud of dry ice in the Purple and White Blackpool Council livery.
