Cheadle Hulme station now boasts three new lifts and a connecting footbridge

 

Marple station near Stockport, Greater Manchester, is on course for accessibility improvements under the Access for All scheme. Work is due to start this winter. When finished, the old footbridge will have been removed and new lifts installed on both platforms, linked by a new single span footbridge.

The ticket office building will be extended to accommodate new accessible toilet facilities.
