Bus passengers in Aberdeenshire can now access timetable information from any location by using RSL’s quick response (QR) code technology. RSL had previously worked with Aberdeenshire Council to deliver touchscreen information kiosks at interchange points on the network.
Working with RSL, Aberdeenshire has become the first local authority in Scotland to introduce QR codes, which use smartphone technology.
