Transport for London today announced new contracts for eight bus routes in the capital. All of the awards are on the basis of conventional diesel-engined vehicles rather than hybrids.
Route 48 (Walthamstow to London Bridge). Re-awarded to East London on the basis of a peak vehicle requirement of 20 new double deck vehicles. The new contract will commence in February 2010.
