Airport operator BAA this week announced plans to sell-off Gatwick Airport but said it would resist pressure to divest Stansted as well.
The announcement follows publication of the Competition Commission’s provisional findings into BAA’s airport ownership that recommended the company should sell Stansted and Gatwick as well as either Edinburgh or Glasgow (LTT-22 Aug).
