Rental e-scooters are no longer available in Essex following the withdrawal of micromobility operator Dott on Wednesday.
Essex County Council said that hire e-scooters will be unavailable for the foreseeable future due to “unexpected delays in tendering a new contract”.
The council launched the scheme in 2020, run by Dott (previously operating as Spin and then Tier).
