The work of two women who have become effective road safety campaigners were recognised in the Queen’s Birthday Honours.

Meera Naran was awarded an MBE for her services to road safety. Her campaigning in the started wake of the death of her 8-year-old Dev after a lorry hit his grandfather’s car on the hard shoulder of the M6 while it was being used by moving traffic in 2018.
