Newly re-elected Mayor of London Sadiq Khan has committed to expanding the Ultra-Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) in October in order to reduce toxic air pollution and protect public health. The larger zone will cover an area 18 times larger than the central London ULEZ, which was introduced in April 2019.
