Budget airline Ryanair has announced plans to cut thousands of jobs in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The airline said the grounding of all flights from mid-March would last until at least July. Ryanair said it expected to report a net loss of more than €100m (£87m) for the first three months of the year, with further losses in the second quarter.

The airline will be unveiling a restructuring initiative that could see the loss of 3,000 jobs, as a result of the disruption caused...
